We’re coming up on the fourth week of June, and there’s still no SOLID indication that most professional sports are on track to resume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The NBA is the closest . . . with a plan<\/a> to resume play on July 30th, where players are protected from the outside world inside a “bubble” in Orlando . . . but even that has some hurdles<\/a> before it’s a sure thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n And now, the White House’s coronavirus expert DR. ANTHONY FAUCI<\/strong> is saying that the NFL season might not happen . . . UNLESS it does the same thing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n He said, quote, “Unless players are essentially in a bubble . . . insulated from the community and they’re tested nearly every day . . . it would be very hard to see how football is able to be played this fall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n “If there is a second wave, which is certainly a possibility and which would be complicated by the predictable flu season, football may not happen this year.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n The NFL is insisting that it will start its regular season as scheduled on September 10th . . . but the virus isn’t showing any signs of slowing. In fact, Florida, where the NBA is scheduled to play, is quickly becoming<\/a> the latest COVID-19 epicenter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
