Rudy Giuliani, President Trump\u2019s personal attorney who\u2019s spearheading the president\u2019s court challenges to his general election loss, has been hospitalized with COVID-19.\u00a0 Trump himself tweeted the first news of Giuliani\u2019s status Sunday night.\u00a0 Giuliani, who\u2019s 76, was admitted to MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, located in Washington, but his condition remains unclear.\u00a0 It\u2019s also unknown when Giuliani first tested positive.\u00a0 Giuliani traveled last week to Arizona, Michigan, and Georgia, where he appeared at a series of legislative meetings, all without wearing a mask.

Giuliani himself tweeted Sunday evening, \u201cThank you to all my friends and followers for all the prayers and kind wishes.\u00a0 I\u2019m getting great care and feeling good.\u00a0 Recovering quickly and keeping up with everything.\u201d

Regardless, the Arizona state legislature will be closed for a week starting Monday \u201cout of an abundance of caution\u201d over COVID-19 concerns, according to an email announcement to Arizona House members.\u00a0 Maricopa County, Arizona, which is Arizona\u2019s most populous and home to the capital, Phoenix, currently has the fourth-highest number of reported COVID-19 cases of any county in the U.S, with 228,312 as of Monday morning, according to data compiled by Johns Hopkins University<\/a>.

The Trump campaign also says that other “team members” who came in close contact with Giuliani will “be following their physicians\u2019 directives and CDC guidelines on self-isolation and testing.”\u00a0 However, the campaign doesn\u2019t name any names or mention if Trump legal adviser Jenna Ellis, who traveled with Giuliani, will be quarantining.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
